... and apparently in California, it's JUNE GLOOM! what?!? i'd been wondering why the skies have been so dismal-gray lately... hmph! i'd look up and ask, Why so gloomy? well. i'm anxiously anticipating the return of Sunshiney-Days. i'm at work. happy monday. :) really? no not really. finished my coffee. my gold bracelets are clinking against the desk as i type... clinka-clinka-clink. i think i need to take them off. [there! off!] This past weekend was relaxing & el mucho funno :) Yes, i invent mah own language sometimes.  I live for weekends, by the way.  So... it was our 4-month weekend, so david took me to paint pottery!!!!!!

Aren't we cute. (shush. don't hate. hahaha.)

OK. i seriously love painting pottery for reals!!! Took a class in high school.. and then did it sometimes in college... but i haven't done it in FO'EVA. I'd been wanting to go for a while.  Somehow he just senses these things. We decided to paint mugs for each other. Sad to say-- his mug is way cooler than mine. HAHAHAHAHA! i thought i was the artsy one but he truly outdid me in the areas of creativity & thoughtfulness. Can't wait to see them all glazed over and finished!!

We also found this fabulous Thai place. Muhahaha. (No. we literally trekked into Thai-town on a random hunt to find an unknown, delish place. wah-lah! we found one!) It had white string lights, mah fave of course. This soup with lemongrass, cilantro, chicken, mushrooms, etc. OMG SOOOO GOOD! Tangy. Spicy. Omgah. Perrrfect if you're sick or ailing in the winter. *snowflake falling*

Nothing better than just lounging around and eating yummy homemade chicken and steaks (he cooked it, not me) .... and i gotta admit, i actually really like watching basketball now. Not just baseball. Yay Lakers!! i have a good teacher in sports too. hehehehehe

i love fresh flowers. they brighten up my day and say a cheery "Hello!" every time i glance over at them. hee hee hee.  behind my desk at work...

I'm lovin' the band Owl City nowadays. (i know i'm saying this for the umpteenth time) Do you ever hear a certain melody, harmony, or beat.. and it just strikes a chord in your soul (get it?? strikes a CHORD) .. and gives you goosebumps? i think a blind person would be VERY confused if they felt my arm. like Braille. Anyways. it mesmerizes me. Oh... and also like Tupac's "LIFE GOES ON". puhahahaha. It gets me every time! so yeah. acoustic AND hip hop. all of it. oh my love.
